microneedling
Microneedling (also known as Collagen Induction Therapy) is a fast, safe, and minimally-invasive procedure with relatively little downtime. It is gentle enough to be used on all skin types and colors, and is less invasive than laser resurfacing treatments. It effectively treats fine lines, wrinkles, acne scarring, hyperpigmentation, and helps reduce pores. Microneedling can also help improve stretch marks, stimulate new hair growth, and improve the penetration of topical products into the skin. Microneedling is commonly preformed on many areas of the body including the face, neck, chest, stomach, buttocks, and thighs.

This procedure utilizes a disposable twelve tip needle cartridge on a high powered pen to puncture the skin. Tens of thousand of microscopic punctures on the surface of the skin create a controlled injury. Each puncture creates a channel that triggers the body to fill these microscopic wounds by producing new collagen and elastin. For best results, we recommend a series of 3-6 microneedling treatments, spaced four weeks apart. For more advanced skin concerns, we may recommend up to 6-8 treatments. The skin will continue to show improvement over the course of 6-12 months.

Microneedling treatments include a double cleanse along with prescription strength topical numbing cream. A complementary Infrared light therapy session is used while numbing to aid in penetration and further enhance your result. We then use a sterile and disposable needle cartridge to infuse medical grade hyaluronic acid into the area being treated.

Your treatment can be upgraded and customized with additional treatment modalities such as dermaplaning, LED, and Topical Light Infusions.
We also have the option to treat the skin with AnteAGE MD Growth Factor Solution. This solution contains pro-healing, anti-inflammatory growth factors and cytokines derived from laboratory culture of human bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells, the specialized cells that science has determined function as “command and control” of healing in all injured tissues. Synthesized human TGF-B3 is added to further reduce inflammation and promote less fibrotic, more fetal-like healing. Hyaluronic acid provides lubrication and is a powerful humectant that promotes rapid re-hydration and volume enhancement within the upper layers of the skin. AnteAGE MD products contain no cells or cell remnants. They are removed during ultrafiltration, the final step in the laboratory culture process.

If discoloration or melanoma is your number one skin concern, we also carry the AnteAGE MD® Brightening Microneedling Solution. This solution contains the same powerful rejuvenating growth factors and cytokines as our classic Microneedling Solution with an added boost of Tranexamic Acid and other melanin synthesis blocking actives. Our unique brightening treatment corrects uneven skin tone and encourages a naturally lighter complexion.Formulated to attack eight different pigmentation pathways, our AnteAGE MD® Brightening Microneedling Solution is the only product on the market to effectively brighten and target discoloration at the cellular level without drying, irritation or inflammation.

We also offer microneedling for hair loss with the AnteAGE MD Hair Growth Factor Solution. The AnteAGE MD Hair Microneedling Solution incorporates recent advances in hair follicle science. Specialized techniques influence bone marrow mesenchymal stem cell cultures to produce conditioned media focused on hair growth (Wnt-1a pathway) while twelve bio-identical growth factors and cytokines, each with proven efficacy in hair follicle stimulation, are added to make this the most scientifically advanced product of its type. We reccomend pairing your in office treatment with the AnteAGE MD® Home Hair System.

Please anticipate 2-5 days of downtime after your microneedling treatment. Immediately following the treatment, the skin may feel tight and warm, similar to a moderate to severe sunburn. This sensation subsides within a few hours, and most people see improvement within 24 hours. Mild flaking, also known as micro-peeling, is possible for a few days after the initial redness subsides; particularly around the mouth and chin.

Please avoid the use of prescription strength Retin-A for 24 hours before your microneedling treatment. Please refrain from using aspirin, Ibuprofen, and fish oil supplements for five days before your treatment to avoid unnecessary bleeding and bruising.
After your treatment we recommend avoiding sun exposure, exercise, and makeup for a minimum of 24 hours.
